FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK XLIII. 1. 1982 p. 165-168 Two new European species of Dysaphis (Homoptera, Aphididae) By H. SZELEGIEW1CZ (Received September 8, 1981) Abstract: Description of two new species of the genus Dysaphis Börn. (D. oreoselini sp.n. and D. peucedani sp.n.) from Poland and Hungary, respectively is given. Dysaphis oreoselini sp.n. Apterous viviparous female (35 specimens) Morphological characters: Body small to medium-sized, about 1.50-1.99 mm long. Head, antennae, legs and siphunculi brownish sclerotic. Sclerotic pattern on dorsum not very extensive, consisting only of transverse bands across pronotum and abdominal tergites 6-8 inclusive and large marginal sclerites on meso- and metanotum; intersegmental muscle sclerites not visible. Arms of mesothoracic furca united. Spinal tubercles usually paired on head and abdominal tergite 8, rarely also on pronotum and abdominal tergite 7, on latter mostly unpaired . Marginal tubercles rather large and flat, present on pronotum and abdominal tergites 1-7 inclusive, occasionally also on one side of metanotum; tubercles on tergite 6 frequently (in 39% of specimens) unpaired, or, rarely (in 9% of spcimens), absent; about 30% of specimens have only one tubercle on segment 7 and further 30% no tubercle at all. Pronotum without pleural hairs. Dorsal hairs extremely short and rather blunt, difficult to measure acurately, those on abdominal tergites 2-3 about 4-7 pm long; ventral hairs on anterior sternites only slightly longer than dorsal hairs. Antennae 6-jointed, without secondary rhinaria, about 0.45-0.58 of body length; processus terminális 2.6-3.7 times as long as basal part of joint VI. Antenna! hairs on joint III maximally 4-7 jum long or from about one-fifth to about two-fifths as long as basal diameter of joint. Rostrum long, reaching beyond hind coxae; ultimate segment very stout, with 2 or 3 very short subsidiary hairs, 0.16-0.18 mm long, and from about one and one-third to one and one-half times as long as hind tarsal segment II. Siphunculi cylindrical, from one and three-fifths to two and one-tenth times as long as cauda and about 3-4 times as long as wide at half their length. Cauda with 5-7 very short and blunt hairs. Abdominal tergite 8 with 4-6 hairs. Subgenital plate with 1 or 2 anterior hairs and 12-18 hairs in posterior marginal series. First tarsal segments with 3,3,2 hairs. Colour in life pale greenish to whitish yellow with no trace of wax powdering. Antennae, legs and siphunculi brownish to dark brown.
