FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA ROVARTANT KÖZLEMÉNYEK (SERTÉS NOVA) XXXII. 2. 1979 p. 175-187 Braconidae (Hymenoptera) from Tunisia, 1. By J. PAPP (Received July 19. 1979) Abstract: Twenty-one species of Braconidae are reported from Tunisia; one genus and four species are new to science, their description is given (Glabromicro- plitis mahunkai gen. et sp. n. oß, Microplitis ariatus sp. n. (j>, Opius suscitatus sp. n. S, O. tabificus sp. n. 6). Nine species are new to the fauna of Tunisia. With 33 figures. In March-April and in September 1977 the Hungarian Natural History Museum (Budapest) completed two collecting trips to Tunisia (GOZMÁNY and MAHUNKA 1977, MAHUNKA and MAHUNKA-PAPP 1978). Among other material 284 Braconid wasps were collected. The taxonomic and faunistic results of the elaboration of the Braconids are given in the present and subsequent contributions. In this paper one new genus and four new species are erected (see abstract); furthermore, nine species proved to be new to the fauna of Tunisia. Every locality touched by the collecting trips received a serial number which refers to the itinerary diary and map, and to further collecting method, habitat, the collector* s name, or other data (1. c. ).
