The new genus within the subfamily Microgasterinae is closely related to Microplitis Förster, 1862, the two genera may be separated from each other by the features tabulated below: Glabromicroplitis gen. n. 1. Parapside indicated by more or less crowded or roughened sculpture of mesonotum. Sternaulus rugose or crenulated on mesopleuron. sp. n. Glabromicroplitis mahunkai sp.n. oé (Figs. 1-6) <£. Body 2.8 mm long. Head in dorsal view (Fig. 1) transverse, almost twice broader than long (66:34, xlOO), eye a quarter longer than temple, behind eyes temple rounded.
