described Telenomus (Homophanurus) species by the lack of postmarginal vein, furthermore, by the sculpture of second tergite. Holotype female: Mongolia, Yellow Gobi, Sumun Sharga, 90 km from City Altay, leg. G. Molnár. The new species is named in honour of agronomist Mr. I. BASANDZHAB, Gobi Al­taj aimak, Sumun Sharga, Mongolia. Asolcus (Aholcus) majorosi sp. n. y Black. Tarsi of all legs, excepting brown claws, dark yellow. Head transverse, more than twice wider than long. Occiput, vertex, frons with fine, dense punctures. Cheeks smooth and shining, with one deep furrow, running from eye margins to base of mandibles. Eyes large, with very short, almost inconspicuous hairs. Ocelli in a triangle, hind ones near to eye margins, separated by their own diameter. Scape about 6-times as long as wide, ex­cavated at tip. Pedicel piriform, about 2. 5-time s longer than wide. First flagellar joint sub­cylindrical, almost 3-times longer than wide. Second flagellar joint subcylindrical, about 1. 5-times longer than wide. Third and fourth flagellar joints transverse, cup-shaped each about a little wider than long at apex. Club 4-jointed. Club joints 1-3 each similar in form and length, about 1.5-times longer than wide, cylindrical. Ultimate joint much thinner than third, a little longer than latter, gradually narrowing towards tip. Mesoscutum arched, covered with fine punctures, behind with two very short, rudimentary parapsidal furrows. Scutellum semicircular, on base wider than long, smooth and shining. Metascutum one small tooth. Propodeum deeply excised in the middle, finely punctured, laterally with two dentiform pro­jections. Pleura finely punctured. Fore wings subhyaline, covered with short, hardly visible hairs. Subcostal vein long, covered as marginal and postmarginal ones with long, erected bristles. Marginal vein almost twice shorter than upwards curved stigmal one. Postmarginal vein almost twice longer than stigmal one. Hind wings subhyaline, behind with long marginal cilia. Abdomen stout, shorter than head and thorax combined. Petiole about 6-times wider than long, striated. Second tergite largest and longest, at apex wider than at base, striated with visible striate running almost to middle of tergite, otherwise smooth and shining. Ter­gites 3-6 telescopic in segment 2. Length: 0.8 mm. Male and biology unknown. Holotype Nr.: 3038. Differs from the other Asolcus (Aholcus) species by the colour of the legs, by the length of the antennái joints, and by the sculpture of the thorax and abdomen. Holotype female: Mongolia, Yellow Gobi, Sumun Sharga, 90 km NW from City Altay, leg. : G. Molnár.
