FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK (SERIES NOVA) XXXII. 1. 1979 P- 535i Two new species of Telenominae from Mongolia (Hymenoptera: Scelionidae) By G. MINEO and J. B. SZABÓ (Received December 1, 1978) Abstract: Two new species of Telenominae, Telenorr.us (Homophanurus) bas andzhabi sp.n.c-and Asolcus (Aholcus) majorosi sp. n. cj> are described. A small but valuable Telenominae material was coUected in Mongolia by the Hungarian writer Gábor MOLNÁR in 1977. The types of the new taxa are preserved in the collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. Telenomus (Homophanurus) basandzhabi sp. n. (j> Black. Greater part of tibiae brown, otherwise tarsi bright yellow. Head transverse, a little narrower than thorax, about twice as wide as long. Vertex, occiput very finely, densely punctured. Frons, cheeks smooth and shining. Cheeks with one deep furrow, running from eye margins to base of mandibles. Eyes very large, densely hairy, about twice longer than cheeks. Ocelli forming a triangle, hind ones almost touching eye margins. Scape about six times as long as wide, deeply excavated at apex. Pedicel elongated, piriform, about 3.5times as long as wide, almost as long as flagellar joints 1-2 combined. First flagellar joint subcylindrical, about twice longer than wide, a little longer than second subcylindri cal one. Third flagellar joint subcylindrical, a little shorter than second one. Fourth flagellar joint globulose, as long as wide, but thinner than globulose fifth one. Flagellar joints 6-8 cylindrical, similar in form and length, each about 1. 5-times longer than wide. Ultimate joint a little longer than eighth, gradually narrowing towards tip. Mesoscutum arched, very finely, inconspicuously punctured, almost smooth, shining, without parapsidal furrows, much longer than scutellum. Scutellum transverse, hind border semicircular, indistinctly punctured, almost smooth and shining. Metascutum a small dentiform lamella, almost invisible. Propodeum small, in the middle strongly excised, without tooth. Pleura smooth, shining. Fore wing subhyaline, without visible hairs or fringes. Subcostal vein long, without bristles. Marginal vein very short, apparently not more than 2-3-times longer than wide. Postmarginal vein wanting. Stigmal vein more than twice longer than marginal vein. Hind wings hyaline, without hairs or marginal cilia. Abdomen a little shorter than head and thorax combined. Petiole about 3-times wider than long, coarsely striated. Second tergite longest and broadest, at base with one transversal suture, markedly fan-like striated in the proximal 2 /3, otherwise very finely, inconspicuously punctured, shining. Tergites 3-6 inconspicuously punctured, shining. Length: 0.6 mm. Male and biology unknown. Holotype Nr. : 3037. Differs from other
