VI. 1966 (Nr. 514), 1 6 and cca 30 km O von Somon Nalajch, 1530 m, 14. VI. 1966 (Nr. 523), 1 o_; Archangaj aimak: Changaj Gebirge, 8 km W von Somon Urdtamir, 1620 m, 21. VII. 1966 (Nr. 724), 1 o. The ovipositor sheath (fig. 17) is as figured. Pauesia sp. <j>. Head sparsely hairy; temple in dorsal view 1/3 as long as eye, strongly converging behind eye; face 1/2 as broad as head. Antenna with more than 19 segments (apical segments lost); 1st flagellar segment twice as long as broad at base and very slightly shorter than the 2nd. Mesoscutum falling verticaUy into pronotum and sparsely hairy except lateral lobe hairless; notaulus distinct only on anterior 1/3. Propodeum weakly rugose, covered with long erected hairs and incompletely areolated, with post-median and lateral carinae effaced, the post-median surface being broadly and strongly excavated, smooth and shining, and hairless. Petiole (fig. 19) almost smooth and shining, 4 times as long as broad at spiracle, and strongly broadened towards apex. Ovipositor sheath (fig. 16) with 3 long hairs. Fore wing (fig. 18): stigma 2.4 times as long as broad; metacarp longer than stigma (7:6), 1st abscissa of radius a little longer than breadth of stigma. Head and thorax dark brown; face, clypeus, mouth-parts, gena, pronotum, propleuron, mesoscutum except for lateral lobe, and mesopleuron anteriorly and along precoxal suture yellow. Antenna dark brown; scape yellowish brown ventraHy. Abdomen yellow; petiole on apical 1/2 (except apical extream), 2nd tergite on basal triangular patch and lateral side, apical 2 tergites apically and ovipositor sheath dark brown. Wings hyaline; stigma (except base yellowish) and veins dark brown. Fore and middle legs yellow; hind legs yellowish brown, with coxa, 2nd segment of trochanter and femur dark brown. 6. Unknown. Locality. Central aimak: Ulan-Baator, Nucht im Bogdo ul, 1650 m, 4. VI. 1966 (Nr. 493), 1 o.. This species appears to be an undescribed species. But it is unnamed here, since only one damaged specimen is available. The species most closely resembles Pauesia grossa (Fahringer) in the characters of the wing venation and colour. Judging from the redescription and figures given by Stary (1960a), however, it differs from grossa in having the petiole more strongly broadened towards apex and the ovipositor sheath stouter and with 3, not 4, long hairs. Aphidius aquilus Mackauer Aphidius aquilus Mackauer, 1961, BoH. Lab. Ent. agr. Filippo Silvestri, 19:277-279. Lysaphidus callipterinellae Takada, 1966, Ins. Matsum., 28: 129-130. From the present material a redescription of the species is given: (j>. Head sparsely hairy; temple in dorsal view as long as eye, parallel behind eye; ocellar triangle apically a right angle or slightly obtuse; face 1/2. 5 - 2. 6 as broad as head Antenna 13 or 14 segments; flagellar segments clothed with dense adpressed short hairs ei tirely as well as a few erected longer ones apically, the 1st being 2. 5 times as long as broe at base, shorter than the 2nd (7:8). Mesoscutum moderately arched, falling vertically int pronotum and sparsely hairy along notaulus and on lateral side. Propodeum rather strongly convex in lateral view, completely areolated, with a pentagonal areola narrow, the ante-median longitudinal carina being faint. Petiole (fig. 19a) 2. 6 times as long as broad at spiracle, slightly broadened from spiracle towards apex. Ovipositor sheath (fig. 26) as figured, with 2 dorsal, 3 median and 2 ventral long hairs, and 2 sensoria. Fore wing: stigma 3.5 times as long as broad; metacarp shorter than stigma (3:5); 1st abscissa of radius 1. 5 times as long as breadth of stigma; 2nd intercubitus and 2nd abscissa of cubitus + recurrent vein decolored. Body, including antenna, dark brown; mouth-parts a little paler. Wings hyaline; stigma and veins brown. Legs brown to dark brown. 6. Antenna with 15 to 17 segments. Locality.
