In the antenna with a small number of segments, the fore wing with the 2nd abscissa of cubitus + recurrent vein decolored, the hair arrangement of the ovipositor sheath and the shape of the head in dorsal view the specimens examined agree well with Japanese material of the species (paratypes of Lysaphidus callipterinellae Takada). But the present form differs from the Japanese one in the petiole stouter, the face narrower and the darker body'colour: in the former the petiole is much less than 3 times as long as broad at spiracle, the face Figs. 19a and 20, petiole in dorsal view; 21, petiole in lateral view; 22, propodeum; 23, fore wing; 24, hind femur and tibia; 25-30, ovipositor sheath. 19a and 26, Aphidius aquilus, o_; 20, 22-24 and 30, Adialytus kaszabi, (j>; 21 and 27, Aphidius picipes, <j>; 25, A. cingulatus, c-; 28, A. absinthii, <j>; 29, Lysiphlebus fabarum, o_. 1/2. 5 - 2. 6 as broad as head and the body almost entirely dark brown, while in the latter the petiole is 3 times as long as broad, the face 1/2.2- 2. 4 as broad as head and at least the petiole yellowish.
