FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK (SERIES NOVA) XXxTÎT" 1977 p. 133-137 Acalyptrata (Diptera) from Afghanistan. II * By Á. SOÓS (Received 20. June, 1977) Abstract: Five species of Platystomatidae, Trixoscelidiidae and Plophilidae collected by Dr.L. Papp in Afghanistan in 1974 are discussed. Description of three new species: Platystoma afghanistanlca sp.n., Trixoscelis discolor sp.n., Mycetaulus confusus sp.n., is given. This time I propose to discuss the species belonging to the families Platystomatidae, Trixoscelidiidae and Piophilidae collected by Dr. L. PAPP in Afghanistan in the year of 1974. A total of 196 specimens came forward belonging to five species, of these three proved to be new to science, and the other two new to the fauna of that country. The types of the new species are deposited in the Diptera Collection of the Hungarian Natural History Museum, Budapest. It is my pleasant duty to thank herewith the following collègues who have helped me by lending type-material: Dr. E.P. NARTSHUK (Leningrad), dr. R.LICHTENBERG (Wien), Dr. Fr. GREGOR (Brno) and Dr. H.
