Fine fabric with occasional white and dark brown grits. Fracture: core 2.5Y 6/1 grey; near surfaces 10R 6/6 - 2.5YR 6/6 light red; slipped and burnished in me­dium high lustre on the exterior 10YR 3/1 very dark grey with white grits on surface (I): 0,2-1 mm); on the interior KA R 4/1 dark grey slip in differing thickness. On the exte­rior the slip is more homogenously covers the surface, on the interior it is more watery and the brush marks are clearly visible. EH II late. Globular sauceboat, classified as type 2 in the Lerna material; the thin, dull, dark grey coloured examples usually belong to the later part of the period (phase C), LERNA 2000, 587. Especially close parallels from Lerna, WIENCKE 2000, Nos. P584, P630, P720, Pl. 9, 10, 12. 6. (Fig. 3b) Body fragment with part of a vertical strap handle from an "Urfirnis" askos coa­ted with dark-firing slip. From Korakou. H. 4.3; W. 6.4 cm.
