Társaság (EADMFR) XI. Kongresszusa Budapest, 2008. június 25-28. Idén lesz 39 éve, hogy Santiagóban (Chile) megalapították a Nemzetközi Dento-Maxillo-Faciális-Radiológiai Társaságot (IADMFR), melynek IX. kongresszusát 1991-ben rendeztük meg Budapesten. Az első európai kongresszust 1987-ben, Géniben tartották, most 2008-ban ismét Budapest várja a fogászati, arc- és állcsont-radiológia kutatóit, egyetemi oktatóit, valamint a gyártó- és fejlesztő cégeket, a leképezés „forradalomi” változásainak, az újabb kihívásoknak megvitatására és értékelésére. Ebben a Cone Beam CT (CBCT) gyors terjedése, és „minden igényt kielégítő technikája” adja az egyik legfontosabb feladatot. Mindezek eredményeképpen ma már a DMFR a világ számos országában, Európában is elismert specialitásként működik, ezért ennek kiteljesítése is a kongresszus egyik célja. The first European congress was held in Geneva in 1987. The 9th congress of the IADMFR was organized in Budapest in 1991. In 2008, once again, Budapest is expecting the scientists, researchers, university professors of dental and maxillofacial radiology, as well as companies of manufacturing and development to discuss and evaluate the revolutionary changes of the imaging technique and new challenges. Especially, the Cone Beam CT (CBCT) technology has gained ground and comes up to high expectations, posing one of the most important challenges. As a result, DMFR is accepted as an established specialty in several countries in Europe and around the world. It is one of the objectives of this congress to expand on this phenomenon. We are expecting all the interested experts from all over the world and hope to indulge you with our famous Hungarian hospitality.
