D. : Researches relating the occurence of parodontal diseases. Author enumerates the diagnostic methods for establishing the occurence of the paradontal diseases, as well as the results of researches carried out in Hungary during the last decade. He suggests the adaption of an index-number which is suitable for establishing the incidence of paradontal diseases and for registering the condition of the paradontium, the type of the paradontopathia, and the degree of bone decay and gingivitis in screening examinations. Dr. L. Sugár: Untersuchungen bezüglich der Häuf igkeit der Parodontopathien. Autor macht die zur Bestimmung der Häufigkeit der Parodontopathien dienenden Methoden bekannt, sowie das Resultat der in den letzten 10 Jahren in Ungarn durchführten Untersuchungen. Zur Definition der Verbreitung dieser Krankheit bringt er zu den Reihenuntersuchungen eine solche Indexnummer in Vorschlag, welche für die Bestimmung und Markierung des Parodontalumstandes, der Type der Parodontopathia und den Mass der Knochenabbau und der Zahnfleischentzündungen geeignet wäre.
