Several years later I joined him at lunch at his invitation. Wallace Green * November at Bethesda Another month has passed into history at The Bethesda Baptist Retirement Home, Inc. It was an­other beautiful month. We had a few cool days (60F-70f) but we also had many exceptionally fine days when our temperatures were in the seventies and eighties. We thank God for all of His blessings. November is the planting month in Florida and we too take advan­tage of the cooler weather during which beginning plant life has a much better chance of survival than those planted during the warmer months. Our policy is to plant and replant fruit trees so that following generations will benefit from our efforts, just as we are blessed with the harvests from the plantings of our predecessors. (Más fogja élvezni kezed munkáját.) Our trees are being trimmed and fertilized to produce a greater abundance of fruit. Our historic old trees too receive food to supplant that which has been taken from the soil during the past year. This is all being done to keep Bethesda green and beauti­ful. We are now beginning to harvest some of our citrus. This harvest is used in our kitchen to provide our residents with much needed and appreciated fresh fruit. ENGLISH SECTION A Nation’s Greatness
