We planted the seed, but only God knows what our words and deeds of love have accomplished. Continue to pray for us, so that we will be instrumental in winning souls for the Kingdom of God. We also have some rather sick residents. Ed Sabo (Bridgeport) has been in and out of the hospital, and Anna Vadas (Norwalk, Conn.) is in the hospital in a very serious condi­tion. George Geanaros is also in serious condition at the same hospital. These loved ones need and deserve our prayers. Ethel Ris­­dorfel and Anna Washitza are still in nursing homes, and they both send their love and request your prayers. Isn’t it wonderful to know that we all are one big, happy family in Christ, and that our prayers help so many loved ones even if we are far apart. Our plan for an addition to our Home is slowly but surely taking form. Presently we are in the final phases of needed financing, and just as soon as this is accomplished our architectural plans will be finalized and be given out for bids. This is a very critical time for your Home, and it requires the prayerful support of all of our friends. In addition to a new addition, new furnishings, rugs and pictures will be needed. Please continue us in your prayers, so that your Board of Directors will con­tinue to act responsibly in this matter. Sometimes our responsibil­ities seem almost beyond our capacity to hear them, but God always gives us the strength and wisdom to do all that is expected. Your Bethesda Baptist Home has a twofold job to do. The first is to take care of the physical needs of those who have become old, and who need our services. The second responsibil­ity is to proclaim the word of God through word and deed in order to bring others into the fellowship of God. We work real hard to ac­complish this. Please pray for all of our loved ones and for those employees who have the responsibil­ity to finish the job that has been given to us. ErnestJ. KERESTLYNÉ sz. Soap Julianna 1892—1977 Augusztus 14-én tartott a Palm Bay-i Bethesda Gyülekezet emlék­tiszteletet Kerestlyné, elhunyt nő­­testvérünk emlékére. Eltávozott nő­testvérünket augusztus 12-én érte a hazahívó szó, 85 éves korában. Az emléktiszteletet gyülekezetünk pásztora, dr. Bíró László vezette. Ki­emelte beszédében lelkipásztorunk, hogy elhunyt nőtestvérünk nagy hit­tel rendelkezett és ezzel a hittel haladt az örökélet honába. Nőtestvérünk 1892. február 1-én született Magyarországon. Az isteni gondviselés Amerikába — New Castle-ba (Penn.) — vezette. Itt fo­gadta el az Úr Jézust és ennek a gyü­lekezetnek a tagja lett. 1950-ben Floridába költözött és 1974-ben a Bethesda Otthon lakója lett s a Bethesda Gyülekezethez csatlako­zott. Földi életét gyermekei közelé­ben a floridai Lakelandban fejezte be. Gyászolják fiai és leányai. Példás élete sokáig követésre méltó emlék marad. Az Úr nyújtson vigasztalást a gyá­szoló családnak.
