The data of the changes of the leaf number, the leaf area index (LAI) and the phytomass wore summarized in the present paper by the authors, continuing the later paper (see Kárász—Szabó—Korcsog 1987) which deals with the examinations oT the structure of the forest of Síkfőkút-Project. It was established that the leaf number of shrub layer increased with 27.76 % during the last 10 years and the leaf area index (LAI) increased from 1.4319 ha/ha to 1.9169 ha/ha during the last ten years. The phytomass of shrub layer was 0.908.41 kg/ha which is with 30 more than the phytmnass measured iri Ihn year 1973. The change of this structural parameters caused by the decay of oak trees which process become more intensiv from the years 1979—80. Előző közleményünkben (Kárász — Szabr -- Korcsog 1987) beszámoltunk a "Síkfőkút Project" cseres-tölgyes erdő cserjeszintjében bekövetkezett változások egy részéről. Folytatásaként most az asszimiláló levélfelület és a fitomassza alakulásáról kapott eredményeket foglaljuk össze. Az alkalmazott módszereket dolgozatunk első részében közöltük. * "Síkfőkút Project".
