Having grown the autonomy of the school and the teachers, the resarching-developing activity will be a more and more natural concomitant of the internal life of a school. It requires and demands that the local development, regional ambition could join forces with growing efficiency with the previously decisive central development. This raises higher and qualitatively different kind of demands on teachers and teacher training. We can only prepare students for pedagogic activity in teacher training if we can successfully develop the essential internal conditions, ie.: - if we make the students motivated and interested, - if we provide as many kinds of possibilities, as wide room for practice as we can for developing and trying the abilites demanded to the pedagogic activity. Gyakorta éri az a vád még manapság is az iskolákat Magyarországon, hogy működésük nem követeli meg minden egyes pedagógustól az elméleti (pedagógiai, pszichológiai, stb.) tudást, a valódi alkotó tevékenységet, az önállóságot. Egyértelműen bizonyítható -- kísérleti iskolák, önmagukat belülről fejleszteni kívánó iskolák kutató-fejlesztő tevékenységének tapasztalati alapján —, hogy a helyi kezdeményezések, az önfejűi
