1 CALVIN SYNOD HERALD 11 faith journey and dedication in the service of the Lord. He would not want to be praised, but would tell us to praise the Lord for all the wonderful experiences in his life. One of his Hungarian books was titled “In Service of Three Homelands.” By this he refers to his homes in Hungary, America, and Heaven. He now lives in his Heavenly Home and no doubt is serving just as faithful to the Lord, Jesus Christ. All of those he touched thank God and “Praise the Lord” for his presence here and above. Mr. Jim Balias The Reverend Frank Juhasz Shepherd after 55 years of Christian ministry, was taken by our Creator, Redeemer, and Comforter God. Rev. Shepherd was ordained by the Presbyterian Church, he was affiliated with the United Church of Christ, the Western Reserve Association, and our Calvin Synod Conference. The last years he preached the Gospel at the East Side Hungarian Lutheran Church of Cleveland, OH and he was always available for pulpit supply in our Cleveland vicinity Hungarian Reformed Churches. He was a musician and composer, had education in psychology and counseling. In 1956 he worked for the Hungarian Refugee program in California and was Youth Minister at the First Hungarian Reformed Church of Los Angeles. His funeral service was at the West Side Hungarian Reformed Church of Cleveland, OH at 11:30 AM Friday, July 30, 2010. May his memory remain blessed- emléke maradjon áldott. Rev. V__________________________J In Their Own Words Reflections on Camp 2010 by Campers, Counselors and CIT’s You could tell them (future campers) that you can still have fun by learning about God. and he teaches you things through out the week, he introduces you to new people who can help you through the tough tim and any questions never be to shy to ask and let them float in your head being unanswered, he will teach you that these people are not only your friends but your family and that we all care about one another and stay in contact all year even though we only see each other once for a week and once for a weekend. - Roxanne (Camper) Camp is like Christmas.
