He is the son of the Rev. Dr. and Mrs. Francis Vitéz. Imre has been on the school honor roll through­out his four years in High School and was elected to the National Honor Society in his junior year. He is editor-in-chief of the Perth Amboy High School newspaper, Paw Prints, an active member of the Student Council, Homeroom Representative, Yearbook Staff, Biology Club, French Club, intramural Hockey Team, and was selected to represent the school at the New Jersey Science Caravan at Rutgers University. Imre has been accepted by Carnegie Mellon Uni­versity, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he plans to major in the sciences.
