Reformed Assistance Committee and support the work of Bishop Csiha. It was a delight to have Superintendent Woudenberg and Professor Kelemen from Kolozsvár visit the church. My one Hungarian baptism was of Aaron Eisenzopf whose family came originally from Temesvár. During the summer a young man from Marosvásárhely worked nearby in the mountains of Virginia. I think he enjoyed talking about the Hill Church and Pastor Fulop Denes almost as much as I did. He had studied in the language school there and remembered reports about it in the Christian Observer. It has also been my privilege to assist Bishop Medgyesi and Pastor Geczy of Cleveland to develop both the Calvin Synod Web site and the synodical E-mail system. The Web site has begun to gain substantial recognition in the industry and has come to the attention of various international Reformed organizations. Members of my congregation Alex Buffalo and Jeffrey Holbrook are professionals in the field who have provided invaluable assistance. Dr. Edwin P. The dramatic highlight of the year 2000 for our congregation as well as the Hungarian Cleveland community was the “Millennial Coronation Concert” at Saint Elizabeth’s Church in Hungary on October 29th. We celebrated the Coronation of our first Christian Hungarian King Stephen and One Thousand Years of Christianity in Hungary. Almost one thousand people were in attendance and more than a hundred musicians participated in the concert. Our pastor, the Rev. Frank Juhász Shepherd was the guest organist for the concert.
