victims of the Honduras Hurricane disaster. We have several canned food drives a year, donating thousands of cans to the Red Cross. We also do­nate regularly to a Blood Bank in the name of our church. We have sup­ported our beloved Bethlen Home with $ 11,000 this past year. The “csiga ladies” meet every Tuesday morning, having lunch at noon. We remem­bered ’56 on our service, with Prof. Bela Bognár as our guest speaker. Our Ladies Aid had a successful Christmas Bazaar, and kolbász making, both fresh and smoked, we had several stuffed cabbage sales. We have every week Hungarian classes, led by our vice-chief elder Andy Dobo. A Hungarian dance group is practicing in our Hall for various cultural events in the year. We sponsor and hold bingo games twice weekly, throughout the year. In August we were very happy to welcome a newly confirmed young lady, Kelli Reneé Gitlin to our membership, at our Holy Communion for New Bread. With a special service, we also welcomed 5 new church members to our fold this year. Hungarian worship was restarted after a hiatus of 14 years, every first Sunday of the month at 9:00 a.m. We average 30 people, many of them coming from as far as Cincinnati.
