BETHLEHEM, PA Pastor: Rev. Ronald R. Hari Chief Eider: Robert F. Csizma Hungarian Evangelical Reformed Church Független Magyar Református Egyház Bethlehem, Pennsylvania Our Hungarian Reformed Church continues to be fortunate in that each Sunday, as we celebrate our Lord’s Day, we also celebrate the rebirth of our church. It is rewarding to see our members welcome our visitors and potential new members with courtesy, warmth, and a true Christian love as they enter our church and worship with us. We are especially happy when we see our very young children and grandchildren, who have very little knowledge of our Hungarian language, feel comfortable as we worship in the English and Hungarian languages. Our Chief Elder Robert Czisma presenting a Bible to Meghan Rohrbach as Amanda Boyer and Rev. R.R. Hari look on during Confirmation on Pentecost Sunday 1997. We are especially proud of our two new confirmands, Meghan Elizabeth Rohrbach, grandchild of Jolán (Mihály) and Robert Csizma, a fifth generation member of our church and a third generation member baptized and confirmed in our church; and Amanda Boyer, great-granddaughter of Mary Shuck, a second generation member of our church. Rev. Ronald R. Hari celebrated his first confirmation service on Pentecost Sunday 1997 and had our two confirmands receive their first Holy Communion with all the rest of our congregation. 123
