Amerikai Magyar Református Egyház
The Women ’s Guild and Kitchen Crew. Pentecost Sunday 1997. Our small Hungarian Reformed congregation in the “Little Town of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania” continues to be financially stable through the generosity of our members, their hard work in noodle making, bake sales, bazaars, pork and chicken dinners, a summer Hungarian food picnic and wise monetary controls and investments. We are indeed fortunate that our members give of their precious time to help our continued Hungarian Reformed presence in Bethlehem and in America. This toil helps maintain our sanctuary and has enabled us to refurbish our original Möller pipe organ and through the Balint Balogh family to buy new Hungarian Hymnals published in Budapest Hungary. We also note with sadness the passing from our earth Frank Athis, a long time elder, and our friends Anton Beke of the Trenton Church, Titular Bishop and Dean Emeritus, Rev. Dr. András Harsányi, and Bishop Emeritus, Rt. Rev. Dr. Dezső Abrahám. May they meet again to continue their worldly journeys in Heaven. We also are thankful for our minister, Reverend Mr. Ronald R. Hari for continuing his labor of love in making our church continue its over 70- year presence in our Bethlehem community. He and Chief Elder Robert F. Csizma work together harmoniously to support physical and spiritual needs of our congregation. Robert F. Csizma, Chief Elder 124
