A group of residents of the Bethlen Home adopted by the Covenant United Church of Christ in McKeesport, Pa. 152 also of their time. Many hardworking men and women spent long hours making nut rolls, kolbász and hurka. With great sadness we buried our former chief elder John Toth, who passed away early last year. Also on a sad note we say good-bye to Rev. Borsay who is leaving us to serve the Free Hungarian Reformed Church in McKeesport. Thus a difficult turn lies ahead on the road, but with your prayers and the help of God we will continue our journey. McKEESPORT, PA Pastor: Rev. Dr. Eva M. Fabian President: Mr. Harvey J. Barnum. There was no dramatic change in the everyday life of our church in 1988. You might as well read our previous reports and get the picture. Instead of boring you with a repetitive report, we wish to call your kind attention to a single important event. For our church the highlight of A.D. 1988 was our 80th anni­versary. We have been under the spell of the wonder and miracle of this big number of eighty all year long. During the past couple of years we have died numberless deaths. The death of the steel industry, the death of our community, that of our immediate neighborhood, half of our membership and so on. Actually we have to pinch ourselves to realize, we are still alive and well. Our existence is the miracle of God. So we gave Him a celebration of joy and thanksgiving on Reformation Sunday, October 30, 1988. The refrain of Psalm 80,
