A Lelkipásztornak egy szép aranyórát és 50 dollárt ajándékoztak. Egyházunk “Rainbow Kuglizó Csapata” Kazmier János asszonytestvérünk vezetésével dicséretre méltóan működött. Egyházunk Trophyállományát újabb nyereménytárgyakkal gazdagították. 1980-ban megkereszteltünk 3 gyermeket. Konfirmációban részesült 4 ifjú testvérünk. Házasságot kötött 2 házaspár. Eltemettünk 4 idős egyháztagot. * * * HAMMOND, INDIANA In 1980 Faith United Church of Christ and its pastor were tested both spiritually and physically. The pastor’s disability continued, but with the help of dedicated assistance: The Reverend Margaret L. Beretz, the Reverend Donald Kelley, the Reverend Donald Capp, who assisted in the English services and Mrs. Maria Feher and Mrs. Helen Beretz, who were of immense help at the Hungarian services. The administrative work and the program of the church was carried on by the pastor with the help of the consistory, chief elder, Paul L. Pavelka, president of the Ladies’ Aid, Helen Gergely, and organist-choirmaster, Mrs. Ruth Bancsi together with Mrs. Rose Ella Palfi, organist, and Mrs. Eleanor Kish, church secretary and organist. Bishop ArpacL L. Beretz and daughter Rev. Margaret L. Beretz on Sept. 21, 1980 Anniversary Dinner.
