BETHLEN ALMANAC 153 Rev. Zoltán Szabó, (Hungarian Reformed Church, Bethlehem, Pa.) with the Junior Women’s Guild. The Women’s Aid Society has helped our Church with vigorous and generous services. Its officers are as follows: Mrs. Gustav Bartha President, Mrs. Julius Kadar Vice-President, Mrs. Zoltán Szabó Secretary, Mrs. John Fabian Treasurer, Mrs. Alexander Danes Auditor. The Young Women’s Guild has advanced with the assistance of many older ladies in the right direction. Mrs. George Jani was the President, Mrs. Steven Kuronya Vice-President, Mrs. Alex Chomos the Vice-President and Auditor, Mrs. Ódon Erdei the Treasurer and Mrs. Zoltán Szabó the secretary. Further: Mrs. Lajos Raich and Joseph Kulcsár. The Men’s Club has rebuilt two rooms of the Church building. Officers: John Fabian President, Imre Pash and Ernest Nemeth Vice-Presidents, Andrew Thuroczy Secretary, John Simon Treasurer, Michael Hancz Auditor. We expect many good work from the Young People’s Society and the Junior Choir formed by its members. This year they went for the first time to Conferences of our denominational youth work. Officers: Robert Jani President, Steven Kuronya Jr. Vice-President, Francine Hegyi Secretary, Rosemarie Jani Treasurer. Futher: James Kovari and Lenart Nemeth. Taking our youth into consideration we have separate worship services in English, except in the summer months. Our Sunday School teachers: Mrs. Dezső Arnold, Alex Chomos, Ódon Erdei, Mrs. John Voros, Miss Norma Nemeth, Mrs. Zoltán Szabó, Steven Kuronya Jr. and Rosemarie Jani have done a great job in service of Christ. We have two Confirmation Classes in English and Hungarian, conducted for two years. We had ten members of the Confirmation Class. From our records of 1959 until August: 2 burials, 6 baptisms and 2 new members. ROEBLING, New Jersey The Sunday School of our congregation celebrated its 10th anniversary
