agree with every critical statement Kálmán Benda had told. On the other hand he separated the questions: „what to publish?" and „how to publish?" to which a separate answer has to be given. Kálmán Benda agreed with the latter argument (for th question „how?" the archival section can also answer) but ironically replied to Győző Ember who referred to the unrealized acade mical plans by way of excuse. Agnes Ságvári in her short concluding speech suggested to form boards, under the auspices of the archival section, to make rules for publishing of sources. The task of a bigger board of 20 members would be to draw up general basic principles and some other smaller groups would unify the publishing methods of the files — inventories of estates, registers of tithes, documents of national committees — concerning several archives. //. In the Kaposvár conference the ecclesiastical archivists themselves presented their archives. László Kormos (Debrecen) starting from the history of the Hungarian Reformed Church, submitted in details the formation, the changes and the present structure of their archival organization. Then he enumerated the main kinds of files and their scientific source value and talking of this he mentioned the great possibilities of research. In the end he unfolded the practical availability of the documents of 4000 running meters. Béla Vető, head of the Evangelical National Archives (Budapest) spoke in similar sense. He gave an account of the past and present condition of the documents of 750 running meters. Characterizing the special situation of the Archives of
