Kós' First Steps as an Independent Architect

The open-air museum

In the side garden an open-air museum was established in 1934. The first exhibit was a house from Csíkmenaság/Armáseni and a Székely gate from the neighbouring lot, built in 1767 and 1761 respectively. Kos also worked on the team that surveyed and relocated the entire cottage, which can still be seen today.
