Kós' First Steps as an Independent Architect
Attention to fine detail - the entrance and surrounds The designs of Kós are characterised by a close attention to detail and the careful handiwork of the real craftsman. A detail drawing has survived which depicts the handle of the main door. The real doorhandle has been signed with the name of the locksmith, István Jakócs, stamped into the metal plate. Several furnishings and accessories (like the mosaic with the year of construction above the entrance) were made between 2008 and 2012 on the basis of the original drawings.
