VILMA VINCZE Reguiescat in Pace The death of Miss Vilma Vincze, associate of the Home Office personnel, has saddened her fellow employees and the National Officers at a time of the year when a normally cheerful Home Office is even more cheerful in anticipation of the approaching---______________________________________________,_____ __ _____ J UlCUUCi Vilma, as she was affectionately called by officers and employees alike, worked her last day Thursday November 6, a few days after the date of her 10th anniversary with the Association she served so faithully and well. Two days later, on the 8th, she was admitted to the Magee Hospital, Pittsburgh, and died there Monday December 1. Three operations and complications were just too much for the physical heart of a practicing Christian woman whose spiritual heart was the abode of purity, goodness and kindness, a lady who was knowrn for the devotion and love she gave her late ailing mother and aged father with whom she lived. Honor thy father and thy mother is a divine precept which Vilma Vincze zealously observed, and the Great Judge must have rewarded her richly for having kept this commandment which is so often flouted and violated in these times. Vilma is survived by her father, Geza Vincze; a half brother, Stephen Tokay; and five half sisters, Mrs. Louis Nagy, Mrs. Elizabeth Hillosky, Mrs. John Dorko, Miss Helen Tokay and Mrs. Rose Varady. Friends were received at the Prokopovitsh Funeral Home. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Homestead Hungarian Reformed Church and interment was in the Hungarian Reformed Cemetery. The Rev. Julius Paal officiated. All six National Officers and a majority of the employees attended the obsequies. Vilma was born July 9, 1918 in Homestead, Pennsylvania and at the time of her death lived at 4010 Harvey Street, Homestead Park. Her employment at the Home Office dated from November 1, 1948. At first working in the Crediting Department, she was later transferred to the Tabulating Department where her services were much valued in this highly mechanized division of the Home Office functions. She was a member of Branch 89-V, Homestead. VILMA VINCZE, now in eternity, our prayerful farewell to thee! About the only cause of death I can think of that obesity is not related to is suicide. — Dr. Frederick J. Stare When a man says money can do everything, that settles it; he hasn’t any. — Edgar W. Howe Persecution is the first law of society because it is always easier to suppress criticism than to meet it. — Howard Mumford Jones Cleverness is serviceable for everything, sufficient for nothing. — Henri F.
