Adequate indeed is the aforestated spiritual and literary observance of the 70th anniversary of our Association. However, we add tangible enhancement to this great event in our intention to give awards to six of our members, in the followingmanner: 1 As our Seventieth Anniversary gift, we will give to two members, one a former Rákóczi member and the other a former Verhovay member, who can qualify as being the eldest in age, each a Louis watch, with 6 brilliant cut diamonds, hands set on ultra-modern dial, finest quality solid 14 karat gold case, LX band — striking combination of leather and gold, world famous Louis 17-jewel movement, lifetime mainspring, valued at $200.00. This watch has a lifetime guarantee of satisfaction, lifetime unbr'eakable mainspring, lifetime genuine ruby jewels and lifetime genuine diamonds. In order to be considered for these awards, our members, who are over 85 years of age, should apply in writing stating their exact date of birth, giving the month, day and year, as our records do not always contain the exact date of birth, especially in the cases of aged members whose applications were written up 30, 40 or more years ago. 2. As our Seventieth Anniversary gift, we will give to two members, one a former Rákóczi member and the other a former Verhovay member, who can qualify as to the longest period of continuous membership, each a Louis watch, with 6 brilliant cut diamonds, hands set on ultra-modern dial, finest quality solid 14 karat gold case, LX band — striking combination of leather and gold, world famous Louis 17-jewel movement, lifetime mainspring, valued at $200.00. As our Seventieth Anniversary gift, we will give to two members, one a former Rákóczi member and the other a former Verhovay member, who can qualify as being the head of the largest family membership, in other words, a member, who with his wife, his children, his sons-in-law and daughters-in-law, his grandchildren, his great-grandchildren, comprises the greatest such family relationship, each a Louis watch, with 6 brilliant cut diamonds, hands set on ultra-modern dial, finest quality solid 14 karat gold case, LX band — striking combination of leather and gold, world famous Louis 17-jewel movement, lifetime mainspring, valued at $200.00. In order to be considered for these awards, members must make application in writing, furnishing all the facts. The members of the winning families will all receive individual presents, and any new members of these families, enrolled in the Association before February 21, 1956, whose applications are accompanied by at least one month’s dues, will be considered as part of the family groups. We request that all those who wish to make claim for these Seventieth Anniversary awards do so AT ONCE in writing, sending their claims through their respective branch managers, who in turn should countersign and forward them IMMEDIATELY to the Home Office. These applications should contain the BRANCH AND CERTIFICATE NUMBERS of the applicants and should indicate the award claim number, 1, 2 or 3. In submitting c’aim for the 3d award, list the NAME, BRANCH NUMBER and CERTIFICATE NUMBER of EACH family member.
