Branch News Branch 19 New Brunswick, NJ by Evelyn B. Bodnar Our Christmas party was held Dec. 8 at the Bayard Street Presbyterian Church. We served a luncheon of chicken, twice-baked potatoes, steamed vegetables, salad, rolls and butter, soda, coffee and desserts. Good fellowship was enjoyed by all. We sang carols and other songs, accompanied by Evelyn Bodnar. Santa came and gave gifts to every child and asked each what they wanted for Christmas. On Dec. 28, we gave out food at the Bayard Street Presbyterian Church and gave gifts to children in need. The Rev. Joseph Bodnar acquired Christmas decorations and craft items which were given to the adults that day. Many coats and other items were donated as well. We average between 100 and 150 people, including children, each week. During the summer, we give out produce and bread every Wednesday. Our grandson, Joseph, age 9, helped one week. He said: "Grandpa, I didn't know children were poor." Branch 28 Youngstown, OH by Kathy Novak Happy Valentine's Day to all our readers. Once again, we thank the Home Office and Board of Directors for supporting the branches and allowing them to host family Christmas parties. Branch 28 held its party on Dec. 14. In spite of snow, our members attended this annual event and, an enjoyable time was had by all. Entertainment was provided by the Aut Mori Clowns, a volunteer group that performs for donations to help handicapped children. Andrew Check II provided music on the cimbalom. To a chorus of "Jingle Bells," Santa and Mrs. Claus (John Tollas Sr. and Amanda Ference) arrived at the party.
