With the Hungarian American Coalition, we have hosted another exchange student from Hungary. Adam Richnovszky has assisted in the daily operations of William Penn Association.

We continue to sponsor our Annual Golf Tournament, which grows bigger and better every year.

I am very pleased to announce the return of our National Bowling Tournament. Many of you have asked for its return. It will be held May 4 and 5, 2012 (Kentucky Derby Weekend). That is a little teaser of things to come. Please help to make it a success.

I want to thank our spectacular employees and National Officers for all their hard work and dedication. They have always gone way above and beyond the call of duty. You see them at every event. Thank you so much. You know how much you are loved and appreciated.

Our Future Depends on You

You, our delegates, approved several changes to our Association's By-Laws which will allow the Board to work together with your National Officers to strengthen the Association. We will search for new opportunities to expand the Association. We will continue to look for opportunities to enter new markets to sell our products and make appropriate acquisitions. Most importantly, we will continue to advance our Hungarian heritage, especially our language. We must pass this on to our next generation.

My near future and favorite project will be you and your branch. I promise that you will see changes in your branch. We will do all we can to improve membership. We want to help with your activities. When invited, we will attend all your events. We will discuss what you want and need to make your branch viable. Do you need more funds? Do you need hands-on help? Do you need to merge with a

nearby branch? Do you want to be smaller? Please tell us what you want. What might work for you, won’t work for another.

Make a commitment to support all the activities. Please consider this: every individual contributes something unique to make this a wonderful world. Every gift and talent counts, no matter how great or small. Get involved in attracting youth, be it through churches or community events. Stay connected. Everyone is welcome to attend a branch meeting or event. Make everyone feel at home. Greet everyone when they come through the door. Please offer your time or your talent with your fellow members. Remember, we are only a phone call away.

17. You will again be entertained by our wonderful George Bátyi group of musicians and the Rajkó Ensemble. We are looking forward to seeing you there.

Thank you to Branch 18 and our wonderful branch officers for never telling me “no” when I asked you to do anything for William Penn Association and me. You have always made me proud.

Thank you and love to my husband Tom and Gabby for always taking the backseat and being #2.
