Branch News Continued from Page 21 As mentioned, Branch 28 will once again charter a bus to attend the WPA Picnic at Scenic View. To reserve your seat, please call Steve at 330-746-7704 or Frank at 330- 549-2935. Cost is $35 per person for transportation and admission. As many Branch 28 members are still working and others are limited with their activities, Branch 28 donated money for flowers to St. Stephen of Hungary and Our Lady of Hungary Churches to help enhance their summer outside environment. Best wishes for happy celebrations to all those marking an anniversary or birthday this month, especially Branch 28 Vice President Frank Schauer. Our sincere sympathy to all those who recently lost a loved one. Great job on the newly updated William Penn Life. It really looks wonderful. Branch 129 Columbus, OH by Árpád Sibrik After a long winter, spring is finally here. We are sorry to report that after a long illness, Andy Boros passed away. He was a longtime member of the WPA and the Hungarian Reformed Church. He was honored during a memorial service in May. Rest in peace, Andy. Ferenc and Gertrude Relle both have been ill, and both need nursing care. My wife, Priscilla, also has had health problems. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Anneliese Gegenheimer had graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor's degree in business administration and Asian studies/Chinese. Congratulations from all of us. She is a third-generation WPA member. She is the daughter of Mike and Ava Gegenheimer and granddaughter of Ferenc and Gertrude Relle. Congratulations also to my grandsons Connor Sibrik and Steven Clise who are graduating from high school. The Columbus Dispatch recently published a nice article about the Hungarian Village in Columbus. The parsonage of the Hungarian church has been repaired after suffering water damage caused by frozen water pipes. Branch 129 invites all members to attend our branch meetings. We need your input and suggestions. For your life insurance and annuity needs, please call Arpad Sibrik at 614-231-8024, or write to 645 S. Kellner Road, Columbus, OH 43209. Now, spring is here, and the weather is surprising. I want to thank the officers of Branch 226 for their thoughtfulness for the Food Bank. Sally Petras and I had a great time shopping for it. Congratulations to Dean Holtzman (pictured left) on graduating magna cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh. He will be attending the psychology masters program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania on a full scholarship. He is the grandson of Malvene Heyz.
