Branch News The Rev. Dr. Csaba Krasznai, a member of branch 14 Cleveland, wears the doctoral robes of the late Dr. Tibor Chikes, which Rev. Dr. Krasznai received as a gift from Maria V. Chikes. Continued from Page 20 to Budapest to serve as an assistant pastor. He was also involved with the Campus Crusade for Christ in Hungary and also participated in the Jesus Film project. In 2003 he began his pastoral ministry at the First Hungarian Reformed Church of Cleveland, Ohio. His dear wife, Beata, graduated from Teacher Training College in Debrecen. In addition to her teach­ing qualification, she also received a diploma in religious education. She is planning to pursue a mas­ter of school counseling degree at Cleveland State University. They have been married since 2000 and have three children: Ráhel, Joel, and Olivia, all William Penn members. Branch 14 is proud to have Rev. Dr. Krasznai as a member. The branch welcomes new mem­bers Lynne Beardsley, Zachary Hein, Drake McCandlish, and Anthony Davenport. Call the Ward Agency at 440-838-1200 to refer new members and earn Recommender bucks! The next branch meeting will be held Wednesday, May 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the Bethlen Hall of the First Hun­garian Reformed Church located at 14530 Alexander Road, Walton Hills. All adult branch members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Branch 18 Lincoln Park, MI by Barbara A. House Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful mothers in our world. We hope you have a wonderful day spent with all your loved ones. Speaking of loved ones, Tommy, Gabby and I are leaving our won­derful family behind in Florida. We have had a super time with our family. Even the lousy winter weather wasn't so hard to endure thanks to all the fun we had with them. Thanks, Debbie and Glenn, for making our first cruise (definitely not our last) so much fun. We spent quality time with our grandchildren and our great-grandchildren. Thank you so much. We will miss you all. Welcome, Dave Despot, to the WPA family. We hope you will be with us for a very long time. Happy May birthday to Rose Wickers (you do so much for Branch 18), Jason Wolfe (love you) and the Rev. Barnabas Kiss. May you all have many more. Our next Branch 18 meeting is May 12 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hungar­ian Reformed Church on Allen Road. We will discuss our annual June trip and our Join Hands Day project. We will conduct our project on June 5. If you can not attend the May meeting, please call me for any information you may need. Remember: many hands make short work. Those who help will be eligible for a member bonus. Holy Cross Hungarian Catholic Church is celebrating its 105th an­niversary on June 13. The celebra­tion will begin with Mass at 11:00 a.m. followed by a banquet and special program at 12:30 p.m. At 2:00 p.m. there will be a raffle with a first prize of $1,000 and many other smaller prizes. Our WPA trip to Hungary is Sept. 28 to Oct. 13. Sure hope you plan to join us. We have many wonderful surprises planned. Our annual golf tournament and scholarship days will be held July 16 and 17. The particulars appear elsewhere in this issue. Branch 18 will sponsor a bus to the WPA Picnic-A Great Fraternal Fest on Sept. 10 and 11. Please call me for information. Branch 27 Toledo, OH by Linda York Spring is here, and we're looking forward to seeing our members at our future activities and events.
