The Minutes THAT ALL BALLOTS BE DESTROYED. 42. National Directors /Installed. General Counsel Ralph F. Manning, Esq, installed the newly elected National Directors. 43. National President and Directors/Excused. The National President and the newly elected National Directors were excused so they may meet for a Special Board of Directors Meeting. 44. Robert E. Bruce. Actuary /Report Submitted. Robert E. Bruce, Actuary of Bruce and Bruce Company for the William Penn Association, submitted his report to the 36th General Convention. He thanked the assembly for the opportunity to appear before the Convention. He proceeded to review the business activities of the Associa­tion for the past four years. Mr. Bruce extended congratu­lations to the National Officers and Board of Directors for the outstanding growth of the Association these part four years. The Association continues its history of outstand­ing financial performance and the members of the Associa­tion should fear not of investing in the William Penn Association. The Association continues to be in a strong sound financial condition. 45. Robert E. Bruce's Report/ Acknowledged. MOVED BY ROGER G. NAGY, SECONDED BY ANTHONY C. BEKE AND THE 36TH GENERAL CONVENTION ACKNOWLEDGED THE REPORT OF THE ACTUARY, ROBERT E. BRUCE. 46. Sales Director Mark Lantz/Introduced Speaker. Mark Lantz, Sales Director, introduced the person portray­ing President Theodore Roosevelt, who relayed a very important message of everyday life for the benefit of the Association. 47. Greetings/Office of County Executive of Allegh­eny County. Daniel Onorato. National V.P./Secretary Toth introduced Kathleen McKenzie, from the office of Daniel Onorato, County Executive of Allegheny County. She extended warm greetings and a proclamation to the 36th General Convention on behalf of Daniel Onorato. 48. National V.P. /Secretary Toth/Introduced visitors in the Gallery. National V.P./Secretary Toth introduced additional visiting guests seated in the gallery and welcomed them to the convention. 49. National Officers and Board of Directors/ Return to Convention. The National Officers and Board of Directors returned from the Special Board of Directors Meeting. 50. Chairman of the Board / Announced. National President George S. Charles, Jr. reported that Stephen J. Varga was elected Chairman of the Board at the Special Board of Directors Meeting. 51. Vice Chairmen of the Board/Announced. Con­vention Chairman Varga reported that E. E. (Al) Vargo and Barbara A. House were each elected as Vice Chairmen of the Board for the William Penn Association. 52. Convention / Recessed. Chairman Varga recessed the General Convention until 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007. TUESDAY. SEPTEMBER 4. 2007 53. Convention / Reconvened. Chairman of the Convention Stephen J. Varga reconvened the 36th General Convention at 10:00 A.M. and same are present. 54. Convention Minutes/ Monday. September 3.2007 / Read / Accepted. Secretary of the Convention Frank J. Radvany read the Minutes of the 36th General Convention held on Monday, September 3,2007. MOVED BY MARGARET H. BOSO, SECONDED BY WILLIAM S. VAS VARY AND THE DELEGATES OF THE 36TH GENERAL CONVENTION ACCEPTED THE MINUTES OF MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 3,2007. 55. Board of Directors / Announce Elections. Chair­man Varga announced that the Board of Directors elected the following National Officers: National President - George S. Charles, Jr. National V.P./Secretary - Richard W. Toth National V.P./Treasurer - Diane M. Torma V.P./Fraternal - Endre Csornán 56. National Officers / Installed. General Counsel Ralph F. Manning, Esq. installed the newly elected National Officers. 57. Nominations/Alternate Director. William J. Bero, Chairman of the Nominating Committee submitted the Report of the Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee interviewed the candidates for Alternate Director. The Nominating Committee recommends to the 36th General Convention the following candidates for the position of Alternate Directors: Frank C. Hrabar, Jr. Richard L.
