Chairman Varga requested three (3) times if there were any further nominations for Director. There being none, MOVED BY RONALD S. BALLA, SECONDED BY ANNE MARIE SCHMIDT AND THE DELEGATES AT THE 36TH GENERAL CONVENTION CLOSED THE NOMINATIONS FOR NATIONAL DIRECTOR. 30. Chairman Varga/Instructions for Voting for Directors Discussed. Chairman Varga gave the necessary instructions regarding the voting process for no more than (14) National Directors. 31. National V.P. / Secretary Toth/ Greetings Read. National V.P./Secretary Richard W. Toth acknowledged and read greetings to the 36th General Convention from President George W. Bush from the White House in Washington, D.C., proclamation from Luke Ravenstahl, Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh, PA; Janice U. Whipple, Chairman of National Fraternal Congress; David G. Blazek, FIC, National President of the National Slovak Society of the USA; George N. Juba, National President of Greek Catholic Union of USA; Karen A. Pintar, President PA Fraternal Congress; Wallace Zielinski, President Polish Falcons of America; Mary Ann Johanek, President First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association; Andrew M. Rajec, President First Catholic Slovak Union of the U.S. and Canada. National V.P./Secretary Toth introduced George E. Lopata of the Greek Catholic Union of USA and President of the Fraternal Societies of Greater Pittsburgh, who extended warm greetings to the delegates of the 36th General Convention. 32. Greetings/David DelBiondo. PA Insurance Department. National V.P./Secretary Toth introduced David Delbiondo, Director, Bureau of Financial Examina­tions, representing the PA. Insurance Department, who gave greetings and a very favorable report on the William Penn Association. 33. Greetings/Tules G. Balogh. HRFA. Jules G. Balogh, President and CEO of the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America, Washington, D.C., extended greetings and best wishes for a fruitful convention from the sister society. 34. National V.P/Secretarv Toth/Introduced Visiting Guests. National V.P./Secretary Toth introduced visiting guests seated in the gallery and welcomed them to the convention. 35. Greetings/Governor Edward G. Rendeli. PA. Nickolas M. Kotik introduced the Honorable Allen G. Kukovich, who is a member of the Pennsylvania State Legislature and representing the Honorable Edward G. Rendeli, Governor of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He extended warm greetings to the delegates on behalf of Governor Rendeli and read a proclamation from the Governor. 36. Chairman Varga/Voting for National Directors. Chairman Varga stated the ballot is prepared for voting for National Directors. National V.P./Secretary Toth began calling the delegates by names and table numbers to cast their ballot. 37. Meeting/Recessed for Lunch. Chairman Varga recessed the convention for the lunch break. 38. Meeting Reconvened. Chairman Varga recon­vened the Convention Meeting. 39. National President Charles / Election/Tellers Committee Report. Convention Chairman Varga recon­vened the 36th General Convention and called on George S.
