It's unbelievable that another month has gone by already. After a long and very snowy winter, we eagerly await the next new season. Don't forget to turn your timepiece ahead one hour on April 6. Recently, I learned that two or our Branch 226 members, a father and son, are serving our country in the military. Fred L. Stipkovits of McKeesport is in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves. He said that at the beginning of March he had been called to active duty, but his destination and exact duties were unknown at the time. His son Fred, age 25, is stationed in St. Louis as part of the Coast Guard's Anti-Terrorism Task Force. He is also an assistant chief for homeland security. We are very proud of both of you and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. Get-well wishes to Alex Goydan, who is recuperating at home after having been a patient at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Branch 226 member Tammy Trombola, her husband Dan and their three children have moved to Lindenhurst, 111, after her husband was transferred to the Chicago area. Tammy is the daughter of branch members Ernie and Sandy Zsemko. Each year, their children—Lindze, Nicholas and Daniel—would come to our annual Christmas party. We hope they can visit at the end of the year and be with us again. We wish them the best that life can bring. Our branch meetings are held on the last Sunday of each month at 2:00 p.m. at the McKeesport Hungarian Social Club, 3004 Walnut St., McKeesport, weather permitting and if the meeting does not coincide with another event or function. Branch 226 members, please let me know of your accomplishments, joys and sorrows so that I can share them with our fraternal family. Call me at 412-673-0117. Kellemes Húsvéti Ünnepeket. Happy Easter holiday. Willill Pill lifi, April 2003 15
