Branch News Branch 14 Cleveland, OH by Dawn D. Ward The annual Christmas party was held Dec. 1 with about 150 people in attendance, of which 70 were Branch 14 juvenile members. After a delicious buffet lunch, everyone was entertained by a wonderful magician, and Santa brought a fantastic array of gifts. The annual Christmas party is just one of the many benefits of WPA membership. Local representative Jeff Ward is available to assist you with your insurance needs. Please call him at 440-838-1200. Congratulations to Branch 14 member Violet Sarosi who was honored Dec. 7 at the Snowflake Dinner Dance at the Bethlen Hall of the First Hungarian Reformed Church in Walton Hills. Violet was honored for her 25 years as chairperson of the event. She is president of the Women's Guild which sponsors the dance, and, through the volunteer efforts of the members, more than $75,000 has been raised for the church over the last 25 years. Branch President Caroline Lanzara will take over the chairmanship from her mother, Mrs. Sarosi. Next year's affair will be held on Dec. 6. The next Branch 14 meeting will be held Wednesday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m. at the Bethlen Hall, 14530 Alexander Road, Walton Hills, Ohio. All branch members are welcome.
