■■■■ Branch 14 Cleveland, OH by Dawn D. Ward Dates have been set for Branch 14 summer outings. The first is an evening at the Hanna Theater to see "Late Nite Catechism", Sunday, July 27, at 5:00 p.m. Branch 14 will also sponsor a Nautica Queen Dinner Cruise Saturday, Aug. 16. Boarding begins at 6:30 p.m., and the ship sails from 7:30 to 10.30 p.m. For more information and reservations, please contact Branch President Caroline Lanzara at 216-581-8979. To wind up the summer, Branch 14 will sponsor a bus trip to the annual WPA picnic on Sept. 13 at Penn Scenic View in Pennsylvania. The bus will leave from the First Hungarian Reformed Church in Walton Hills at 8:30 a.m. and return around 9:00 p.m. For more information and reservations, contact Violet Sarosi at 440-248-9012. At the delegate district election meeting held Wednesday, May 7, past President Rose Kaul was honored with a beautiful birthday cake. Rose has been an active member of the branch and former delegate. You always do so much. Branch 18 participated in the delegate district election on May 2. The official results of the election will be published in the August issue of the William Penn Life. The WPA annual picnic at Penn Scenic View will be held Sept. 13. We have a bus rented to leave on Sept. 12. Cost of the trip, including bus transportation to and from Pennsylvania, deluxe room at the Holiday Inn, breakfast buffet and picnic admission, is only $50 per person for members of WPA branches 18 and 214.
