Branch 249 Dayton, OH by Anne Kertesz Well, Santa has returned to the North Pole, the new year is here and so are we. We have had such beautiful weather here in Dayton. At times, it seems like spring, but it's really February. Look out March! Those participating in our bowling league are having a good time. During the time I spent with them, there was much laughter. That's a healthy sign. We are looking forward to the bowling tournament in Akron. Community and church activities keep us more than busy. Keeping our Hungarian culture alive takes a lot of hard work, especially with fewer people participating. Our sincere thanks to the Home Office for their continued support of our efforts. In March we are having a cabbage roll sale. The cost is $1.25 each. Contact Anne Schmidt at (937) 667- 1211 or Michele LaFlame at (937) 278-5970 by March 10 to place your order. Your order can be picked up between noon and 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14. In April, we will be having the Music of Hungary fundraiser. Contact Ann Kertesz at (937) 275-6654 for more information. Our congratulations to Branch Vice President John Horvath who is to be married this April. We wish him and his bride much happiness. Remember to call Steve or Michele LaFlame if you have any questions about your life insurance or annuity needs at (937) 278-5970 or (937) 671- 0045. Their fax number is (937) 277- 4941. Or, you can email them at lasmjr@earthlink.net. Wishing everyone a very happy and blessed Easter.
