The prize is being donated by Fugazy International Travel of North Brunswick, N.J. All pro­ceeds from the drawing will bene­fit the Association’s scholarship foundation. The drawing will be held Satur­day, July 13, during the Eighth Annual National Golf Tourna­ment awards dinner at the Shera­ton Inn Pittsburgh North, Mars, Pa. The winner will receive a certif­icate redeemable at Fugazy Inter­national Travel for two round­­trip coach tickets between New York and Budapest. If the winner does not wish to go to Hungary, he or she can redeem the certifi­cate for its full value for two round-trip coach tickets to any destination of his or her choice. Visitors to the Folk Festival, sponsored by Robert Morris Col­lege, on May 24, 25 and 26 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center can join in the celebration, participate in song and dance, and sample the various ethnic foods. The Hungarian Ethnic Group of Western Pennsylvania is spon­soring the Hungarian portion of the program. The menu at its food booth will include káposztás tészta (cabbage and noodles), töl­tött káposzta (stuffed cabbage), kolbász savanyu káposzta (sausage and sauerkraut), gulyás leves (beef goulash), palacsinta (filled crepes) and sütemények (pastries). The Hungarian folk arts and crafts display will feature illustra­tions, photographs and crafts of the Szatmar, Delafold and Somo­gy provinces. On Friday, May 24, during the 9 p.m. show, the group will pre­sent a program of Hungarian dance representative of the Somo­gy region. The herdsmen of the village will be gathered around the fire as the village women arrive with bundles of food and jugs of wine to share. The tempo will quicken as couples begin to dance a series of fast paced Ugros dances. The Hungarian performance will be only one of a multitude of celebrations occuring over the weekend. Visitors will see a Bul­garian "Kukeri” Festival, a Fili­pino Fiesta, a Greek Glendj, the Irish Rose of Tralee, Polish St. Martin’s Day and Lithuanian In­dependence Day. Visitors can also expect to see exhibits of Ukranian wedding ceremonial headdress, Lebanese Easter, German Drachenstich (stabbing of the dragon), a Croa­tian harvest in Slavonija and a Caribbean Carnival. Children’s performances are scheduled on Saturday and Sun­day at 2 p.m. each day. There will also be a variety of hands-on activities, such as paper-cutting, folk dancing and egg coloring, for people of all ages. In addition, the International Bazaar will showcase items from Africa, Costa Rica, Ireland, Mex­ico, Peru, Russia, Slovenia, Slo­vakia, Poland, Greece, Bulagria and South America. Festival hours will be Friday 4 to 11 p.m., Saturday 1 to 11 p.m. and Sunday 1 to 9 p.m. Admis­sion is $5 for adults in advance, $6 at the door, $2 for children between the ages of six and 12 and no charge for children under six. Group rate for 35 or more is $4.50 per person.
