Our next meeting will be held Oct. 9. On Sunday, Sept. 24, we hosted members from various branches around the Pittsburgh area. We will host a card party on Saturday, Oct. 7, at St. Anselm’s School on McClure Avenue in Swissvale. The party will begin at 1:00 p.m. Admission is $3 per person. Branch 8164 Steubenville, OH Branch 8164 recently resumed its schedule of activities with a Mass at St. Anthony Church followed by a breakfast meeting in the Rectory Hall. The breakfast was served by Julia D’Aurora. The Rev. Robert Mascolino offered the opening prayer. Branch President Pete Buffone presided over the meeting. Reports were presented by Fannie Cipolla and Albert DiFalco. Michael Veccione, president emeritus, spoke on the good of the society by a better attendance at the meetings and promoting disciple-like qualities. Louis Fodor, chairman of the National Auditing Committee, offered a review of various events held by the Association during the summer, including the national bowling tournament and the successful Family Festival at the William Penn Home in Wellsburg, W.Va.
