NOTICE The date for the William Penn Association Summer Family Carnival for the benefit of the Knights of St. George Home will be held at Mt. St. George, Wellsburg, West Virginia on SUNDAY, AUGUST 3, 1986. Additional information will be published in our next issue. Recipe for a Happy New Year Do not attempt to make up the whole batch at one time, for it works best if you work on just one day at a time. Into each day put: 6 of charity 5 of kindness 4 of prayer 3 of rest 2 of meditation and 1 carefully selected resolution. 12 parts of confidence 11 of patience 10 of grit 9 of elbow grease 8 parts of faith 7 of hope Then put about a cupful of folly, a jigger of laughter, a sprinkling of play and a heaping cupful of good humor. Cook thoroughly in a fervent heat, garnish with a lot of smiles, a sprig of joy. Then serve quietly with unselfishness and cheerfulness and a HAPPY NEW YEAR is a certainty. Grace was said by the three grandchildren, Kevin Burke, Jenny and Sara Hodits. After that Mr. Balogh brought a message from the William Penn Home Office. * It was received by a warm round of applause from those present.
