L. to R.: John Tusai, Home Office employee and Gay Banes, Vice President Planning — General Counsel with Andrew Panko, brotherin-law of Mr. Banes looking on. An excellent puppet show was presented by Linda Zimmer and two of her assistants—Amaul and the Night Visitors—a wonderful Christmas Story which was thoroughly enjoyed by the children and adults alike. Christmas Carols were sung, ably led by William Markosky, and then with the vigorous singing of “Jingle Bells” Santa appeared with bells ringing and the usual Ho-Ho-Hos. The children sat on Santa’s knee to tell him what they wanted for Christmas and were presented with candy and gifts. All were invited to partake in our delicious Buffet Dinner. After the dinner, door prizes were given to children and adults alike, names being drawn from a box and by each child. President Sabo handed the Santa Claus with Fred Stepkovits III and National President John Sabo. Branch 214 Flint, Michigan Branch 214 held their annual Christmas Party at the Hungarian Reformed Church at 1817 Delaware St., Flint, Michigan on December 4, 1983 at 2:00 P.M. All the members and guests were greeted by the Branch President Marton Nadasi and Branch Manager Louis Roka. Santa Claus (Steve Tenk) was a big hit with the children as he passed out gifts to the little ones around the Christmas tree. Entertainment was provided by Steve Tenk’s three beautiful and talented daughters, Anna, Elizabeth and Helen Tenk, who played their accordions and led us in singing Christmas Carols in English and Hungarian. Many thanks to the wonderful ladies, Elizabeth Dobos, Catherine Nadasi, Julia Rejtő, Elizabeth Tenk and Mary Udvarnokjr for all the delicious pastries and baked goods which everyone enjoyed and for acting as hostesses. The good Reverend Zoltán Kovács of the Hungarian Reformed Church gave us the blessing of Christmas and wished everyone a safe, happy and prosperous New Year.
