Family Christmas Party. On Sunday, December 18, 1983, we had our annual Family Christmas Party. After having a delicious lunch, we all enjoyed Steve Mészáros, our Branch Secretary-Treasurer, in leading our children in singing Christmas songs. He was helped by George Mirkovich, playing the accordion. Mr. Children playing Simon says. Magician, Steve Barcellona and helpers. Mészáros introduced Michael J. Hrabar, our Branch President and Na­tional Auditor, who extended holiday greetings from the Home Office. After the children played games, they enjoyed our magician, Steve Barcellona, who had many helpers from the audience. The best event of the day was the arrival of Santa Claus. Our thanks to all who helped with the preparations; Mr. & Mrs. Michael Hrabar, Mr. & Mrs. Steve Mészáros, Mr. & Mrs. George Mirkovich, Mr. Sabo and Annette Hrabar. On December 6, 1983, we elected the following officers for 1984: Michael Hrabar, President; Mary Mészáros, Vice President; Steve Mészáros, Secretary-Treasurer; Ann Hrabar, Auditor, Annette Hrabar, Auditor and Michaelene Mirkovich, Reporter. My family and I wish you all a very healthy and Happy New Year. Michaelene Hrabar Reporter Branch 22 Roebling, New Jersey On Saturday, December 17th, Branch 22 held their last meeting for the year 1983. Election of officers was held and the results are as follows: Branch 22 Children's Christmas Party. President, George Bucs; Vice Presi­dent, Dale Cole; Recording Secretary, Barbara Emri; Treasurer, Zoltán Emri; Auditors, Andrew Gabor and Dennis Kish. Following the installation of of­ficers, our children’s Christmas par y was held. There were movies, refresh­ments, and even a visit from Sarta himself with gifts for each of the children. It was a most enjoyable time shared by all. We at Branch 22 wish each and everyone a healthy and prosperous 1984. We also give our support to the new national officers and wish them every success as they lead this great organization. Respectfully submitted, Barbara Emri, Recording Secretary Branch 24 Chicago, Illinois Branch 24 held its election of of­ficers Sunday, December 11, 1983, at the Ivanhoe Park Fieldhouse, 144th & Stewart in Riverdale, Illinois, at 2:30 p.m. The following members were elected officers for 1983: Charles Akai, President; Paul Novak, Vice President; Bert Garszik, Recording Secretary; Betty Hartly, Treasurer; Betty Akai, Corresponding Secretary & Reporter; Mary Bertok, Auditor. Following our meeting, Branch 24 held its Annual Christmas Party this year. Branch 24 held a grown-ups party. A delicious chicken dinner with all the trimmings was served. All attend­ing spent an enjoyable afternoon. The officers and members of Branch 24 thank the Home Office for the generous allotment which helped make our party a huge success.
