1 Home Office News Recently a gala retirement dinner was held for longtime employee, Martha Karpathy. She came to the United States from Hungary in 1956 and started working at the Home Office July 1, 1957 in the Crediting Department. When the computer system came into effect, she was in charge of the Premium Accounting. Her husband, Dr. Sándor L. Karpathy, also retired recently from the City of Pittsburgh where he was employed as a Zoning Specialist. Martha has 2 sons, Sándor, a mechanical engineer who resides in Houston, Texas and Zoltán, Senior Director of Fund Raising at Ketchum Co. in Pittsburgh. She also has 2 lovely grandchildren, Sándor and Christopher. We wish Martha and Sándor good health and happiness and may God bless their remaining years together. Martha and Dr. Sándor L. Karpathy. OUR YOUTH Branch 16 Member Competing in Junior Miss Pageant CYNTHIA MOLNÁR Cynthia Molnár will represent Middlesex County in the 26th Annual New Jersey Junior Miss Finals Saturday, January 1 4 at Cherry Hill High School East, Cherry Hill. She will be among 21 high school senior girls competing for the title of New Jersey's Junior Miss for 1 984, cash and college scholarship awards and a trip to Mobile, Alabama in June for the nationally televised program. Cynthia is an active senior at Colonia High School and a second grade CCD teacher and aide. She plans to attend Rudgers School of Pharmacy.
