Kondor for his 50 years of practice in medicine. Dr. Kondor and his family have been members of Branch 13 for many years. We wish “God’s Blessing” on him and his family and may he continue to serve humanity in good health and hap­piness. Hoping all who attended the 40th National Bowling Tournament in Dearborn, Detroit had a wonderful time. National Director, Stephen Danko, his lovely wife, Julia, the of­ficers of Branch 18, and the committee are to be highly commended for a most enjoyable weekend. Congratulations to the bowlers who were recipients of prizes. All in all a good time was had by all and will be long remembered. In reviewing the Scholarship Dona­tions through Premium Payments, in the Spring publication of the Penn Life, the members of Branch 13 were very receptive and generous. Radvany Secretary Congratulations Ron Balia Ron Balia, son of National Vice-President, John Balia and his wife, Emma, beat the city Democratic organization and came in 1st in a hotly contested Democratic Council race. He then immediately announced his intention to run for Mayor. We wish Ron the best of luck. VICTORY KISS —New Kensington councilman Ron Balia, who led the Democratic ticket yester­day for two council seats, gets a kiss from his wife, Patty, while his parents, John and Emma Balia, look on. Branch 1 8 Detroit, Michigan The 40th National Bowling Tourna­ment has past us by, but if left many of our branch members with smiling faces. We are very proud to have the First Place Team from our Branch in the Women’s Division. The running of the tournament was in very capable hands of Joseph Lorincz, Secretary and Steve Vargo, Chairman. By now, you have all received your report on the Tournament, as Joe and Steve went to work immediately to help finalize the Tournament results. We wish to thank all the bowlers who participated in the 40th National Bowling Tourna­ment. Our thanks is also extended to the many guests who took part in the festivities.
