Irene is here from Hungary. Welcome Irene, and hope you enjoy our wonderful country. Also, Julia Yoo has a visitor . . . none other than her son from Romania. NOTICE TO ALL BOWLERS: The William Penn National Bowling Tournament and Banquet will be held in Detroit over the Memorial Day Weekend. The headquarters will be at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dearborn. Anyone interested in bowling, please contact a member so you can be placed on a team. Bowling will be at the Thunderbowl Lanes on Saturday and Sunday. Hospitality will be at the Hyatt regency on Friday night. Saturday night we will have our gala banquet and the announcement of our winners. Remember ... the William Penn Social Club will also be open for your convenience, if you so desire. We want all of you to have a most enjoyable weekend. VACATIONS: Margaret New has planned on a trip to New Orleans with her Aunt Elizabeth Vágott from West Virginia. Steve and Julia Danko have been soaking up the sunshine in Florida. The Csanyi Family have also been enjoying the great Florida weather. Betty Soltész took a vacation to visit her daughter in Montana. Betty and Joseph Soter just returned from Florida with a nice tan and a very restful look. Olga and Jim Burinda are still in Florida. Mary Molnár spent two weeks in Florida visiting her sister-inlaw and brother-in-law, the Poletto’s. We know it is always nice to go away for a week or whatever time you can, but it is especially nice to see all of you back, safe and sound. We know you all enjoyed your vacations. CONGRATULATIONS TO Andy and Emma Toth on the arrival of their new grandchild. Also, to Mary Molnár on the arrival of her new grandson Joshua Molnár, son of Robert and Francyne Molnár. Remember, we have a place for you to celebrate your birthday or anniversary on the third Saturday of every month. No other than our Social Club. We have been taking reservations in advance. It seems once you attend one of these celebrations, you come back again just to be with the celebrants. It really is a fun evening. Beautiful silk, long stem roses, are raffled off and a gift is given to the celebrants. So remember . . . have your next birthday or anniversary at the Social Club. We will be most happy to cater to your needs. That is about all the news for now, so I will sign off with the hope of seeing you at the National Bowling Tournament, if not sooner. Fraternally yours, Betty Holguin Treasurer/Reporter Branch 51 Passaic, New Jersey Election of Delegates and Alternate Delegates to the 30th General Convention of the William Penn Association from Branch 51 will be held on Sunday May 22, 1983, at 2 P.M. prompt.
