Spring Puszta Frolic and Family Picnic

The Entertainment Committee and Officers of Springdale, Branch 296 announces two great summer events for members and friends.

A gigantic Spring Puszta Frolic and Family Picnic will be held at Penn Scenic View on Saturday, June 18, 1983 from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It will feature Square Dancing with the well-known Western Pa, Caller, RON MEISL, who will inspire you to dance, dance, dance!!! There will be lots of fun and games with contests for the kids, big and little; tennis, basketball, volleyball, fishing, badminton, frisbees, horse-shoes and pony rides.

All Tri-State branches (Pa.-Ohio- West Virginia) are invited. Bring your own basket of food and refreshments. We will do the rest!!!

Old-Fashioned Hungarian Picnic

An old fashioned Hungarian Picnic will also be held at the Assumption Church Picnic grounds, Leechburg, Pa., Sunday, July 17, 1983, starting at 1:00 p.m.

The menu will feature “kolbász”, “toltott káposzta” (stuffed cabbage), hot dogs, pastries and all kinds of beverages to please every taste. Dancing starts at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Come one! Come all! Bring your wife and kids or girl friend for fun, food and dancing.

We will send flyers with more information and directions or you may telephone and I’ll send you the information.
