Festivals Planned By Springdale, Pa. Branch 296 Spring Puszta Frolic and Family Picnic The Entertainment Committee and Officers of Springdale, Branch 296 an­nounces two great summer events for members and friends. A gigantic Spring Puszta Frolic and Family Picnic will be held at Penn Scenic View on Saturday, June 18, 1983 from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It will feature Square Dancing with the well-known Western Pa, Caller, RON MEISL, who will inspire you to dance, dance, dance!!! There will be lots of fun and games with contests for the kids, big and little; tennis, basketball, volleyball, fishing, badminton, frisbees, horse-shoes and pony rides. All Tri-State branches (Pa.-Ohio- West Virginia) are invited. Bring your own basket of food and refreshments. We will do the rest!!! Old-Fashioned Hungarian Picnic An old fashioned Hungarian Picnic will also be held at the Assumption Church Picnic grounds, Leechburg, Pa., Sunday, July 17, 1983, starting at 1:00 p.m. The menu will feature “kolbász”, “toltott káposzta” (stuffed cabbage), hot dogs, pastries and all kinds of beverages to please every taste. Danc­ing starts at 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Come one! Come all! Bring your wife and kids or girl friend for fun, food and dancing. We will send flyers with more infor­mation and directions or you may telephone and I’ll send you the infor­mation.
