The Branch 132 Officers will still continue with the worthwhile project of promoting the sale of the Cook Book, “Treasured Hungarian Recipes” which are available at the William Penn Association, 1024 West Indiana Avenue, South Bend, Indiana 46613 or from the Officers. The total proceeds from the sale of these cookbooks will be donated to the William Penn Association Scholarship Foundation. The cost or donation by mail is now $4.00 for each cookbook. During the 1983 year the Branch meetings will be held on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 P.M. in the William Penn Home, 1024 West Indiana Avenue, South Bend, Indiana. Fraternally yours, Frank J. Before Santa Claus came, the children were served pizza and orange drinks; they sang Christmas carols and then Mr. Santa Claus distributed a bag of goodies to the children. Everyone had a great time. The 1982 Christmas Party for Branch 159, Pheonixville, Pa. was held Tuesday, December 7 in the Social Room of the Parkside U.C.C. Branch Manager, William Kovach welcomed everyone in behalf of our National President, Elmer Charles. We enjoyed singing Christmas carols accompanied by Mrs. Dolly Szabó on the organ. Santa Claus, portrayed by Jack Serdy, distributed gifts to all the children and mothers. Refreshments were enjoyed by all. Branch 159 regretfully announces the death of Mrs. Mary Sinka.
