189. The teams had a wonderful time, won prizes and enjoyed a delicious dinner in the evening. They had a beautiful fun-filled day and are anxiously looking forward to the second annual William Penn Golf Tournament. Summertime is for swimming, vacations, picnics and reunions—the John and Sarah Korosy reunion is one that will long be remembered by the Korosy family. July 24, 48 descendants of John and Sarah Korosy gathered for their first annual reunion, at the summer home of John Korosy, Jr. Family members traveled from Cleveland, Upper Sandusky, Alliance, and Sebring, Ohio and from Indianapolis, Indiana. Beatrice Korosy Keeler, eldest daughter of John and Sarah, was the oldest family member present. Julianne Giordano, granddaughter of Mike and Etta Korosy was the youngest member. The event was hosted by John and Sue Korosy, assisted by their daughter Susan Hines. Rosine Korosy Trieff, daughter of Steve and Margaret Korosy, traveled the farthest distance, coming from Indianapolis, Indiana. She was accompanied by her four lovely children. The reunion was the fulfillment of a promise made by Margaret Korosy to her mother-in-law, Sarah, to get the family together someday. Everyone was so happy Margaret persisted in making the promise come true!! We’re glad to hear that Mike Bodo and Mike Korosy have recovered from surgery. Best of health to the both of them.
